Case August Hanning: I f’n Told You Loyalty Was a Scam
How Well-Paid Intelligence Elites Preach Sacrifice While Selling You Out.
If you followed any security and intelligence news over the last couple of weeks, you will probably have heard of the case of August Hanning, the ex-Bundesnachrichtendienst (German Intelligence Service) chief, and his, as of recently, still active accomplice Manfred Dankesreiter from Geretsried, Bavaria.
Both of them were high ranking intelligence officials. In the case of Hanning, it doesn’t get any higher than that. Hanning was bringing home approximately 12,000 euros a month (yes, per month) after tax, and Manfred probably around 8,000 or so per month. Both of them were living in mansions that they owned, either because they inherited them or because they were lucky enough to be born at a time when a huge house would cost maybe 50k euros in total and could be paid off in a couple of years.
Both of them retired, and they, their children, and their grandchildren probably wouldn’t need to work a day in their lives with the wealth those two gentlemen had accumulated. Yet, I guess for those dumbasses, it wasn’t enough. I am not writing this short article, though, to take sides on whether the alleged acts of treason they performed were bad or good, right or wrong. That’s for history to decide. What I want to communicate here is that this leadership and these kinds of people, who, btw, is the same type of leadership that is still active in the current institutions (Manfred was an active duty intelligence director as of summer 2026), are actively communicating that we need to get more aggressive towards Russia. That we, the younger generation, should get combat ready and ready to fight the bad enemies, all while at the same time they enrich themselves. As if they don’t have enough already or haven’t stolen enough from younger generations already.
I remember one of these so called “leaders” telling us that we should be willing to make sacrifices when a colleague raised a very specific question: What if we received a letter threatening our families, warning us that if we showed up to work the next day, our loved ones could be harmed or even killed? What exactly were we supposed to do in that situation?
And the response? We should be prepared to make sacrifices.
So let me get this straight, Mr. Leadership. Are you seriously telling me that I should be willing to sacrifice the lives of my family and loved ones out of loyalty to you and the corrupt institutions you represent?
You expect me to put my family's lives on the line while you sit comfortably in your position of power, enriching yourself and selling us out to the very same entities you publicly call our enemies? You expect me to risk everything while you make deals behind closed doors, lining your pockets to afford an even bigger house and a more expensive car, all while I'm living in a fucking rental flat?
And somehow, I'm the one who's supposed to make the ultimate sacrifice? For what, exactly? Your wealth? Your career? Your loyalty to institutions that wouldn't think twice about sacrificing me or my family?
No. Fuck that.
I mean, this August Hanning douchebag was even allegedly actively handing out misleading information to his own German troops that were deployed overseas. How fucked up is that? Like, it’s one thing not to care. But actively manipulating them is next level. This just goes to show that past, current, and future leadership of these types of institutions, be it military, intelligence, or whatever, cannot be trusted, and loyalty will only get you… well, you know what I was about to say.
Hanning, Manfred, and Carsten Linke are all the same. Trash. I am a migrant. Carsten Linke was in a leadership position at the BND, responsible for doing background checks on staff and applicants. He also happened to be a Nazi. Saying racist stuff like migrants should be put against a wall and shot to death. Is this the leadership one is supposed to follow? Is this the trashy leadership one needs to sacrifice his life and the lives of his family for? Carsten Linke also happened to live in a big house, drive a fancy car, and earn north of 8k euros per month. Yet, that was also not enough for him. I mean, sure, he was a racist and ideologically driven, and again, I don’t want to say whether what he did was right or wrong (apart from the racist stuff and him being an asshole). I am just saying be aware of the effect that may have on you. If you decide to follow these types of people into battle, then it’s on you. You are a fool. Know that they are going to throw you under the bus (or tank, for that matter) when they can make a profit from you.
Long story short, be aware that leadership is not really leading. Following them will get you killed. They will sell you out in a heartbeat if that means they can get a new Porsche. You have been warned.
